Why we build, not buy

SaaS is great until you hit someone else's roadmap. These tools fit our exact workflow — not somebody's enterprise sales pivot.

  • No per-seat fees, ever

We pay once, in engineering time. No surprise renewals.

  • Built for our workflow

Every feature is one we needed. No SaaS bloat.

  • Customer data stays here

No third-party SaaS holding your config, IPs, or backups.

  • Feature requests ship in days

    Median time-to-ship is around 2 weeks — not Q3.

Common questions

How these services work and what they're built on.

Can I request a feature for one of these services?+
For customer-facing services (WebSSH, Backup Panel, Virtualizor), yes. Open a ticket or message support. Median ship time is around 2 weeks.
Are these services open-source?+
Most aren't published yet — they're tied to our infrastructure. We're slowly extracting general-purpose parts into standalone repos.
What stack are these built on?+
Mostly Node.js + Express + SQLite for backends, with React or vanilla JS frontends. IP Atlas uses WebSocket. WebSSH wraps xterm.js with a Python proxy.
Do services have separate authentication?+
Customer-facing services share SSO with the client area. Internal services sit behind a Cloudflare Zero Trust tunnel.
Is there an API for these services?+
Looking Glass and iperf3 are scriptable as-is. Backup panel exposes the S3 API. Virtualizor has its own API. A unified API gateway is on the roadmap.
Will internal services ever go public?+
IP Atlas dashboard is unlikely — it shows infrastructure internals. Parvane Ops is staff-only. Some read-only views may surface on the status page.
